      How to find the Serial
      Number on MacBook Air

To find the serial number of your MacBook Air and other important details, you can use one of several available ways:

      • 1

        On the laptop

The number is always indicated on the underside, where the regulatory markings are located. Turn your laptop over and find the appropriate labeling, just like on the mobile device.

      • 2

        In Overview

The original combination of numbers, which is your serial number, is indicated in MacOS. To find this information, use the following steps: go to the Apple menu (upper left corner of the screen) — select the About This Mac menu — Overview. Here, under the model name of the device, the serial number is indicated. Alternatively, in the Apple menu, you can select the “System Report” button — go to the “Hardware” window — and click the “Hardware Overview” button.

      • 3

        Details panel on the right

The serial number is also indicated on the details panel on the right.

      • 4

        On the box

Another, perhaps the simplest, method is to check the packaging. This information is also always indicated on the box and on the warranty card or/and on the receipt.
