How to find IMEI on Huawei
So, you already know what IMEI is and why it is important to check it when buying a Huawei phone. Now, you need to understand how to determine it. There are three basic ways: find it on the box, enter the USSD code, or find it in the settings. Let's take a closer look at each option:
- 1
Phone packaging
If you buy a Huawei with a box, the IMEI should be indicated on the attached label. Look for a 15-digit number after the “IMEI” marking.
- 2
Phone settings
Each Huawei device has the default “Settings” application. Go to it and select the “About phone” submenu. There, you will find all the technical info, including Huawei IMEI and serial number.
- 3
USSD code
It is a special combination that you need to enter in the “Phone” application. Open the dial pad and enter *#06#, then press the “Call” button. IMEI status will be displayed on the screen of your Huawei.
The IMEI number guarantees the authenticity of a Huawei gadget and allows you to find out the device history and the warranty information in literally one minute.
